We have been providing metal tube spacers to industry for years. Metal tube spacers are metal tubing cut to length and finished to specification. They are used in a variety of applications. They have different characteristics that are important to their form, fit and function. We use standard tubing for our spacers, so they will be continuous surface of seamless or welded tubing. We do not provide split spacers.
Many times a previously used spacer is needed to be reproduced. Since we use commercially available tubing, the outside and inside dimensions may vary from the original spacer. Let us know what the critical dimensions are when requesting a quote. For example, the most important characteristics of a particular spacer might be that it is 1.250” +/- .010 long and must slid over a ¼” bolt with a wall thickness of at least 1/32”. The material is the next important consideration. Are you concerned about weight, strength, corrosion resistance, price, or all of the above? From there we can identify a standard tube that will most likely fit your application.
